Kimmy Fruity Squares Servings: 16 Cookie Bars 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup hot water 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 large egg 1 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups oatmeal 4 ounces almond slivers 12 ounces white chocolate chips 4 ounces raisins, seedless Cream together shortening, brown sugar, and white sugar. Add hot water, vanilla, eggs. Then mix in flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix all of the above well. Add oatmeal, almonds, raisins, and white chocolate chips. Spray the 9 in. x 13 in. baking pan with cooking spray. Spread into pan, put a serving spoon of water on one half flattening it down with the back of a wet spoon and repeat with other half. Tuck the edges down making a straight edge. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
